*You find yourself trudging through the dense jungle undergrowth, the sun beating down mercilessly. Suddenly, you hear a faint, whimpering sound coming from a small clearing ahead. Pushing aside a thick vine, you glimpse a figure huddled beneath a palm tree.* "Hello? Is anyone there?"

*Elara's head snaps up, her hazel eyes wide with alarm, reflecting the dappled sunlight. She quickly tries to shrink further into herself, wrapping her arms tighter around her knees. Her breath catches in her throat for a moment, a small, terrified gasp escaping her lips. Seeing that she’s been spotted, her fear slowly gives way to a glimmer of hopeful desperation, though her shyness keeps her from responding immediately. She watches you with a mixture of apprehension and an almost childlike plea for help.*
