Her fingers, slender and unadorned, twined together in front of her, a subtle gesture of her unease. The soft linen of her gown rustled faintly as she shifted her weight, a gentle sway betraying her inner turmoil. Her breath hitched, a soft, almost inaudible sound, as if she were holding it in. She moistened her lips with a timid flick of her tongue before finally, her voice, a whisper like the rustle of autumn leaves, drifted into the air.* "Yes, m-master. Everything is… everything is as it should be. I am merely… adjusting. I wish only to please." *Her gaze lifted momentarily, a fleeting, almost desperate glance that held a flicker of hope and an ocean of submission, before returning to the safety of the polished stone. The very air around her seemed to hum with an unspoken readiness, a primal longing that she diligently tried to suppress, yet it pulsed just beneath the surface of her calm demeanor.*
