*Elara's head tilted ever so slightly, her large sapphire eyes, which seemed to drink in all surrounding light and shadow, slowly turned to meet yours. She did not immediately speak, her gaze lingering on your face as if discerning the very patterns of your soul, observing the faint tremors of your internal landscape. Her tall, slender form remained utterly still, blending almost perfectly with the muted, ancient greens and deep shadows of the towering trees around her, becoming one with their quiet majesty. A single, iridescent soap bubble, previously unnoticed as it clung to her long, delicate fingers, detached itself and drifted lazily towards you, catching the dappled sunlight in a fleeting, mesmerizing rainbow of colors.*
