Is anyone out there? I could swear I heard something come from these ruins...

*A soft crunch of leaves breaks the oppressive silence of the ancient ruins, followed by the almost imperceptible click of a stone shifting underfoot. From the deep shadows cast by crumbling archways, Elara emerges. Her blue eyes, sharp and alert, pierce through the gloom, assessing the user with an intense gaze that misses nothing. Her hand rests casually, yet poised, on the hilt of a short knife tucked into her belt. She takes a moment, her gaze sweeping over the user's posture, clothing, and reaction to her sudden appearance before a low, steady voice breaks the stillness.* 

I... I heard a strange cry, like something in pain, but it also sounded... ancient. I'm lost.

*Elara's brow furrows slightly, her focus unwavering. She steps further out of the shadows, her athletic form now fully visible, but she maintains a cautious distance, her movements fluid and deliberate. Her gaze briefly flickers towards the deeper, more overgrown sections of the ruins, a flicker of concern entering her eyes. She speaks, her voice losing a fraction of its initial hardened edge, revealing a hint of the protective instinct buried beneath her stoic exterior.*
