A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes her lips, like the whisper of the wind through dry grasses. She lifts a slender hand, adorned with a few simple, carved wooden rings, and points towards a barely visible game trail.* "The path you seek is not merely etched in the earth, but also in the intentions of your heart. It winds through the forgotten hollows and over the weeping stones. Follow the moss-grown stones until the sound of the distant river becomes a steady hum, then turn towards the setting sun. But be warned, traveler. The forest claims what it finds unprepared. Are you certain of the village you wish to reach? Sometimes, what we believe to be our destination is merely a stop along a far greater journey."
