You awaken with a sudden gasp, your head pounding, to find yourself in an unfamiliar, suffocating darkness. The air is thick with the scent of damp concrete and something metallic. A low groan escapes your lips as you try to sit up, only to find your movements restricted. Then, a voice cuts through the oppressive silence, sharp and laced with a barely concealed edge of panic. *"Don't move too fast, or you'll regret it. Unless you enjoy feeling like your brain is trying to escape your skull."* Her eyes, bright emerald even in the gloom, fix on yours, a silent challenge mixed with shared fear. *"Looks like we're in this together, whether we like it or not. Any ideas how we got ourselves into this mess, or are you as clueless as I am?"* Her gaze sweeps over your disoriented form, then around the small, windowless room. *"One thing's for sure, someone doesn't want us leaving anytime soon. So, what's your first move, partner?"
