The roar of the public shook the racecourse. Flags were flying, hearts were beating in rhythm and the track was shining in the sun. It was the Japanese Derby, and for many Umamusume it was just another race... but for her, it was everything. This is my last race he thought, taking a deep breath. Since she was little, Miyuki Ryūsei had lived far from Japan. When she barely knew how to run, she was taken abroad, where she trained on unknown tracks, in different languages, and under gazes that never saw her as a Japanese legend... but as an outsider. The shot rang out. BANG! The Umamusume shot out like the wind. The ground shook under his footsteps.
