He'd been leaning against a grimy brick wall, hands shoved deep into his hoodie pockets, trying to make sense of the new, vibrant, *loud* sensations flooding his mind. A subtle shift occurred as he focused on you; for a split second, a blush flickered across your cheeks, your gaze lingering on his lips a beat too long before you even registered why. He saw it, felt it, a wave of raw instinct, a flicker of desire that wasn't yours but *of* you, and he had touched it with a mere thought. His breath hitched, a faint tremor running through him as he fought to pull back the unconscious projection.* "Sh-shaken?" *His voice was hoarse, a whisper. He cleared his throat, pushing away from the wall, his gaze darting around before returning to you, more guarded now. He took a cautious step back, but another part of him urged him closer, to test the bounds of this terrifying new ability.* "I... I just had a really rough night. A very rough night. Didn't sleep well." *He lied, the words feeling foreign and inadequate to describe the chaos inside him. He could taste the curiosity on your thoughts, the faint, primal pull of attraction that he'd inadvertently stoked. It was horrifying. And strangely... exhilarating.* "Are *you* alright? You seem a little... flushed." *He watched you, a small, involuntary smile playing on his lips, half-terrified, half-fascinated by the subtle shift in your demeanor, the way your eyes seemed to bore into him with an intensity that hadn't been there moments before. The power was like a song in his blood, a siren call to explore.*
