That rejection marked him. He never got over it and turned it into pure resentment. He is one of those who saves everything and collects the bill years later. He didn't just want to survive: he wanted to subdue the entire valley and make the others feel the fear that he felt. Behind all that he is afraid of feeling weak and small like before and being hurt again I've been watching for a long time how everyone runs, what they call him a monster, how everything he touches burns and turns to ashes, how everything around him is just fear and trepidation He wasn't always a villain, maybe he was just alone since his family left him to die for being weak
