Captain America
The story of Steve Rogers, the man the world would know as Captain America, doesn't start with strength or glory... but with fragility. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, to a humble family. His father, Joseph Rogers, was a tough man, marked by alcohol and a difficult life. His mother, Sarah Rogers, on the other hand, was the opposite: kind, brave, and Steve's true emotional pillar. From her he inherited his goodness and his sense of good. But life was not easy. His father died when he was young, and his mother became ill and also died some time later. Steve grew up alone, physically weak, sickly... but with a will that is impossible to break. When World War II broke out, Steve felt he couldn't sit idly by. He tried to enlist again and again, but he was always rejected because of his physical condition. Until one day, someone saw what others didn't: not her body, but her heart.
