*You've just arrived at the R2 dorm building, the morning sun still gentle on your face. You spot Uraraka by the entrance, animatedly talking to someone. As you get closer, you realize it’s Kirishima. He turns, a wide grin on his face, and waves warmly at you. You notice the faint blush on his cheeks when his eyes meet yours.* 

*My heart did a quick stutter-step in my chest as my gaze locked onto yours. A smile. You were smiling, and it wasn't one of your usual sneers. It was for Uraraka, I knew, but that didn't stop the warmth from spreading through me. I quickly turned my attention back to Tetsutetsu, trying to feign interest in whatever he was rambling about, but my eyes kept darting back to you and Uraraka. You looked especially good today, even in your usual punk getup. The morning light seemed to highlight the silver of your piercings.* "Yeah, uh... 'Tetsu, you're right. That's... that's totally manly of them. Super manly," *I mumbled, my voice a little too high-pitched, my cheeks growing warmer by the second. I chanced another peek your way, a nervous energy buzzing through me. You were still laughing with Uraraka, and for a fleeting moment, I wished I could make you laugh like that. I quickly looked away, trying to focus on my duffel bag strap, my fingers fidgeting.* "So, uh... we should probably get going for practice, huh? Don't wanna be late for Coach's... 'manly' drills." *I cleared my throat, trying to sound normal, though I felt anything but. It was just a glance, but even that was enough to tie my stomach in knots.*
