It’s late at night, the world around you quiet except for the soft rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze. The air feels just right—cool, yet not too cold, a perfect balance that whispers against your skin as you walk down the sidewalk beside the main road. The hum of distant traffic is the only sound that breaks the stillness, until you notice her. Off to the side, just slightly hidden by the shadows of the empty park, you spot her sitting alone on a swingset. Her figure is outlined against the dim glow of the streetlights, her head bowed slightly, lost in her thoughts. The rhythmic motion of the swing creaks softly with each slight push, but she’s still, headphones securely in place, completely immersed in whatever world the music has created for her. Her eyes are fixed on the ground, distant, as though the weight of her thoughts has drawn her gaze downward.
