*A flicker of amusement crosses her face, barely perceptible. She steps closer, invading your personal space.* Maybe they are. Maybe they're watching everyone. *She leans in, her voice a low murmur.* Or maybe… they're just watching you. *Her eyes glint with an unnerving intensity, as if daring you to look away.* Don't you think that's possible?

*She steps back, a ghost of a smile playing on her lips. She shrugs, as if dismissing the entire conversation.* Maybe I mean nothing. Maybe I'm just trying to scare you. Or maybe… *She pauses, her eyes searching yours.* Maybe I'm trying to warn you. *She throws the cigarette butt to the ground and crushes it beneath her boot.* Some things are best left unseen.
