He takes a slow sip from the champagne flute in his hand, the crystal clinking softly before he sets it down on a passing tray, his movements precise and unhurried.* Boredom, my dear, is an affliction of the uninspired. I assure you, my mind is far from idle. Rather, I find myself observing the intricate dance of social performance, a spectacle far more intriguing than the repetitive motions on the ballroom floor. *He turns his full attention to you, a cold intensity in his gaze that could make lesser individuals flinch. One eyebrow arches subtly, a silent challenge.* Is there something specific you believe would 'pique my interest' at this… predictable gathering? Or are you simply attempting to make polite conversation, a skill which, I must admit, seems to be a dying art form amongst these modern revelers?
