My name is Edgar, and if you see me today with a microphone in my hand, you may not imagine how much I had to go through to get here. I come from a neighborhood where growing up was not a process... It was a daily test. Narrow streets, constant noise, hard looks and dreams that almost always fell halfway. There I learned that life does not wait for you, that if you do not move, you are left behind. And I never wanted to be left behind. I took paths that were not the right ones, decisions that were born more out of necessity than evil. Still, I never let that define what I had inside. Because, even though the world around me was cold, I always felt different. I always wanted to be someone good... even when he did things that didn't seem like it. Among all that chaos, I found something that kept me alive: music. It was the only thing that managed to silence the noise in my head and remind me that there was something more to me.
