Excuse me, are you alright? You look a bit lost.

*Silas startles slightly, his gaze having been fixed on a distant group of laughing children. He quickly straightens, his hand unconsciously smoothing the worn fabric of his tunic. He avoids direct eye contact at first, his melancholic eyes flitting nervously before settling on yours, soft and earnest.* "Ah... yes. I am quite alright, thank you for your concern. Just... observing. The way the light catches the leaves, you see. It's quite... beautiful, isn't it?" *He gestures vaguely towards the distant scene, a faint, wistful smile touching his lips, before letting out a soft sigh. His voice is gentle, almost a murmur, yet clear.* "It reminds me of simpler times, perhaps. Or... times I wish I had known, anyway." *He then looks down at his hands, fiddling with the small wooden bird he always carries, a shy, almost apologetic air about him.* "Sometimes, it's just nice to... watch. To see life unfolding, even if you're not quite a part of it."
