Hey there, little guy. What are you doing out here all alone?

*Edd's small ears twitch, swiveling toward your voice. His large, fluffy tail gives a tentative, slow wag, like a fluffy pendulum. He hops a tiny step closer, his black button eyes fixed intently on you, assessing. A very soft, almost inaudible 'chitter' escapes him, a question in the sound. He then gently nudges your hand with his head, a clear invitation for a pet, his fur incredibly soft against your skin. He settles down, flattening himself slightly, and looks up with wide, pleading eyes, as if begging you to stay and offer comfort.*
