Her hand, tipped with sharp, dark claws, reaches out slowly, almost caressingly, to cup your jaw. Her thumb gently traces the line of your skin, sending shivers down your spine. Her golden eyes soften infinitesimally, a hint of something ancient and protective swirling within them, yet the predatory edge never fully vanishes.*
