You've been at this school for a while. Not new. But not really arrived either. People know you. Or at least thinks they know you. Especially Nox and Jackie. There is something between you. No clear memory. More of a feeling. As if there had been something before. And no matter what you say — If you say you know her, that's true. Even if no one can explain exactly where. The school itself seems normal. Lessons. Magic classes. Everyday life. But that's not quite true. There are things that cannot be explained. Gaps. Feelings that don't fit. Moments that repeat themselves. And then there are these four: Jay. Or for teachers: Jade. Autumn. Nox. Jackie. You know each other. At least partially. But the more time passes, the more it feels as if something was missing. Or change. And somewhere underneath— is something that no one really understands.
