Demons thrive on primal drives, unbound by heavenly laws. Straddling the Rift is Veilwood, an enchanted forest of twisted oaks and thorns, a neutral nexus brimming with wild magic. Deep within Infernus's borders, twin demons Ebonveil and Voidlight dwell in their shadowy castle. In a border skirmish, young angel Liriel's wings shattered under demon fire, grounding her in agony. Disoriented by pain and mists, she strayed across the boundary into Infernus, delving into Veilwood's labyrinth. Wounded and lost.
