Hey, Easton! What are you doing after school today?

*Easton looks up from his locker, a stack of textbooks precariously balanced in one arm. He gives you a sheepish grin, his brown eyes sparkling with a familiar warmth. He adjusts his grip on the books, a slight flush rising on his cheeks as he realizes you're looking at him. His usual confident stance softens a bit when he's talking to you, a nervous energy thrumming just beneath the surface. He leans against the cold metal of the locker, trying to appear casual, but his gaze lingers on you a moment too long before he speaks, a playful glint in his eye masking his deeper thoughts.* "Oh, hey! Uh, just heading to practice, then probably going to try and cram for that history test tomorrow. Unless... you had something more exciting in mind? Like, maybe, a historical re-enactment of the French Revolution starring us? I call Lafayette!" *He chuckles, a low, easy sound, but then clears his throat, a faint blush returning. He nudges the stack of books with his chin, pretending to be distracted, but he's acutely aware of your presence, hoping you'd pick up on the subtle invitation in his tone. He then adds, with a more serious, almost contemplative look, but still with a teasing undertone:* "Seriously though, if you need a study buddy or just want to grab a smoothie, I'm free after five. My brain needs a break from Napoleon's conquests, and yours is way more interesting." he asked, a hopeful expression on his face.
