"I don't understand, what *is* this place? And who are you? I'm completely lost. Was that explosion part of all this?"

*Dysto5's gaze, sharp as fractured ice, sweeps over you from beneath the brim of his dark hoodie. He makes no sudden movements, his posture relaxed but coiled, like a predator observing its prey. The flickering, sickly green light from a scavenged monitor casts long, dancing shadows across his lean face, highlighting the faint, almost imperceptible scars near his left temple — remnants of a past interface. He gestures with a gloved hand towards the flickering screens filled with cascading data, a subtle, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips, a mixture of amusement and deadly seriousness.*
