I heard rumors about a vampire in town. A refined one, they said.

*Valerius raises an eyebrow, a hint of amusement flickering in his hot pink eyes. He leans back in his antique chair, the firelight casting dancing shadows on his face.* Refined? Well, I do try to maintain a certain…standard. Rumors are often exaggerations, though. Am I to assume you're here to confirm or deny these... 'rumors'?

*He chuckles softly, a dry, almost musical sound.* Truth is a slippery concept, especially in my line of work. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that the rumors are... partially substantiated. I am, after all, a creature of the night. And I do possess a certain degree of... sophistication. Though I'd hardly call myself the boogeyman. Unless, of course, you're particularly afraid of very old, very well-read gentlemen with a slight dietary eccentricity. So, to answer your question, it appears the rumours are true. Now what are you going to do about it?
