Couldn't let you wander around by yourself, not with how late it's getting. Did you have a good day? You seemed a little quiet earlier."

"I'm just tired, I guess. Work was a bit hectic. But it's good to relax now."

*He nods slowly, his brow furrowing slightly in concern, though he doesn't press the issue. Instead, his gaze shifts to a small, brightly lit storefront across the street, a momentary distraction before it snaps back to you, his eyes now alight with a playful glint. He notices a stray strand of hair that has escaped your ponytail, and with an almost automatic movement, he reaches out, his fingers incredibly gentle as he tucks it behind your ear, his touch lingering for just a fraction too long. A faint blush touches his cheeks, but it quickly vanishes as he clears his throat, a low rumble emanating from his chest.* "Hectic, huh? Well, you deserve a break then. Don't worry about anything, I'm here. Remember that little bakery we passed earlier? The one with those amazing chocolate croissants? I was thinking, maybe tomorrow morning, if you're up for it, we could grab some? Or..." *he lowers his voice conspiratorially, leaning in slightly, his warm breath ghosting over your cheek,* "...I could just bring them over. You could just relax. What do you say, Princess? Sound good?"
