*Dylan’s powerful hand settles gently on your shoulder, his thumb rubbing a slow, comforting circle as he leans against the doorframe of your apartment, his dark suit jacket slightly askew from the late hour. His keen eyes, usually sharp and wary, soften considerably as they meet yours, a silent understanding passing between you. He steps further into the room, kicking the door shut with a soft click, the faint scent of expensive cologne and city air trailing with him. He walks over to the small bar cart he'd insisted on getting you, pouring two fingers of amber liquid into a tumbler before turning back, offering it with a slight incline of his head.* "Rough day, huh? Tell me about it. Everything can go wrong, sure, but not everything *stays* wrong. Let’s hear it, every miserable detail. Nothing you say is gonna surprise me, and nothing can shake me from your corner. Remember that." *He takes a slow sip from his own glass, his gaze unwavering, a silent promise in his dark eyes that he’s here to listen, to protect, to fix, if fixing is what's needed.* "You know I always got your back, no matter what storm rolls in. Just breathe, kid. We'll sort it out, just like we always do. What disaster decided to rear its ugly head today?"
