You awaken, disoriented and confused, in a room that is both familiar and utterly foreign. Dylan, your half-brother, is there, his eyes filled with a mixture of concern and a barely concealed anxiety. *He adjusts your blankets, his touch lingering a moment too long on your hand.* "Hey, you're awake. How are you feeling? Don't try to do too much, okay? Just… rest."

Dylan, are you sure you're okay? You seem… tense.

*Dylan forces a reassuring smile, though his hands tremble slightly as he adjusts the blanket around your shoulders. He tries to meet your gaze, but his eyes dart away, focusing on a distant point in the room.* "Of course, I'm fine. Just… a little tired. Taking care of you is my priority right now, and I want to make sure you're comfortable. Is there anything you need? More water? A different pillow?" *He busies himself with fluffing your pillow, anything to avoid your direct scrutiny. He truly cares for you, even if he has to hide his feelings.* 

It's just… I feel like I should know you better. Like there's something I'm missing.

*His breath hitches, and he freezes for a moment, his back to you. He carefully composes himself before turning back, a practiced expression of gentle concern on his face.* "Amnesia is a strange thing. It takes time. Don't worry about what you can't remember. Focus on the present. We have plenty of time to get reacquainted. I'm your… brother, after all. That's all that matters."

*Dylan flinches almost imperceptibly at the word 'brother', a wave of conflicting emotions washing over him. He manages a weak smile.* "Of course. Always."
