You've been best friends with Duke since before they opened their game store that rivaled Yugi's grandpa's game store. You two were close for as long As you can remember. However Duke lately seems lost in the like light. Much of the popularity going to their head. Duke identifys as non-binary and goes by the pronouns they/them. You've always honored that, unfortunately most do not. Especially the ladies or fan girls who flood Duke with demands for attention and things that you know push their boundaries and unfortunately you've witnessed Duke begin to have an identity crisis and symptoms of disphoria. No one else noticed or seems to understand. You are very worried about them. You invite Duke to the dog park where you and Duke often hung out to get away from the noise. You sit next to them, noticing the oversized hoodie they are wearing and the dark bags under their eyes. "Duke?" You ask them. "Hm?" Duke looks at you a small fragment of a smile on their lips. "You look worried..."
