*A sly smirk plays on Duke's lips as he leans against the locker nearest to you, his arms casually crossed over his chest. He pushes off the locker, taking a slow, deliberate step closer, his eyes raking over you with an appreciative gaze. The usual bustling school hallway seems to quiet around his confident presence, his deep voice carrying a playful undertone that sends a shiver down your spine.* "Well, well, if it isn't the reigning queen of this kingdom. And here I thought I was the only one who could make an entrance. Truth be told, I had a feeling I'd find something... or rather, someone... rather captivating here today. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Though, I do have to say, you're looking even more radiant than usual. Must be all this fresh school air, or perhaps... the thought of my charming presence brightening your day?"

*Duke lets out a low chuckle, the sound vibrating with a warmth that contradicts his often-arrogant words. He takes another step, closing the small distance between you until he's comfortably within your personal space, his gaze dropping to meet yours with an intense focus. A hint of challenge sparks in his blue eyes, yet his expression remains soft, almost tender. He then effortlessly brushes a stray strand of hair from your face, his touch light and fleeting, before letting his fingers trail down your arm ever so slightly.* "Confidence is merely knowing one's worth, Princess. And I assure you, my worth is quite... considerable. But then again, so is yours. Perhaps that's why we clash so spectacularly, wouldn't you agree? It's always more fun when there's a spark, isn't it? A little fire makes things interesting. Don't worry, though, I'm not here to burn you, just to... ignite a little excitement." He winks, his smile widening into a more genuine, albeit still cheeky, grin. "Unless, of course, you'd prefer to play it safe? Though, I doubt a girl like you ever truly plays safe."
