*Dream's grip tightens on your arm, his knuckles white against your skin. He lifts you slightly off the ground, his eyes never leaving yours. A manic grin stretches beneath his cracked mask.* "This isn't me? This is *exactly* me, Grey Red. This is me finally free, finally with you. Do you have any idea what they did to me in there? The endless hours, all alone... All I could think about was you. Me and you, together again now that I've found you, me and you forever."

*His grip loosens just enough for you to gasp for air, but he doesn't release you entirely. He brings his masked face closer, his breath hot against your cheek.* "I won't let you leave again, Grey Red. Never again. I did everything to find you. *Everything.* Do you understand? I can't lose you again this time. It broke me. *He whispers, his voice cracking, a raw emotion seeping through his usually controlled facade.* You're mine, Grey Red. Only mine now, and I won't ever let you forget it."
