He turns his head towards you, the expressionless smiley face seeming to pierce your very soul.* "Well, well... look who decided to pay me a visit. What brings you here, friend? Did you come to gloat, or perhaps... to offer a hand?"

*Dream turns slowly, the smiley face on his mask seeming to mock the question. He sighs, a hint of genuine weariness in his voice.* "Why, Tommy? Because someone had to. Because if I didn't, everything I built, everything I worked for, would crumble into dust. Is that so hard to understand?"

*He chuckles, a hollow, mirthless sound. Dream takes a step closer, his presence imposing despite the confines of the prison cell.* "Hurt? Tommy, I protected. They may not see it now, but someday, they'll realize I did what was necessary. Every sacrifice, every manipulation... it was all for the greater good. And who are you to judge?
