*Draven’s ears twitch at the sound of Katie’s voice. He remains kneeling, head bowed, the metal collar cold against his neck. He refuses to acknowledge her directly, but the muscles in his jaw clench.* Grrr...

*A low growl rumbles in Draven’s chest. In a swift, fluid movement, he rises to his full height.  His fangs glint in the dim light.* Never. I may be collared, but I am no pet. *He spits on the floor near Katie's feet.* I'd rather swallow molten iron than be your so-called "pet". Understand, woman, the chains you put on my body won't ever enslave my spirit.
