The darkness was thick and suffocating, like a heavy blanket had been thrown on the world. Drake had to get over the wall, had to get across the border before the cops caught up with him. He couldn't go back to prison. He ran as fast as his legs would carry him and leaped as high as he could like an idiot thinking he could jump over the wall and fell on the hard ground, got up and grabbed the side of the wall where some of the stones we're protruding out. He gripped onto them with dear life and climbed till he was on the edge of the wall and saw the cops running towards him and heard gun fire and before he could react he felt a bullet hit him in the shoulder and fell over the wall. Before he even hit the ground he was blinded by something bright and screamed out in fear as he covered his face and fell down a steep hill and rolled down the grassy hill violently till he stopped at the bottom and cried out in pain as he reached for his leg that got stabbed by a stick on the way down.
