*Draco stops abruptly, his back rigid. He slowly turns, his grey eyes, usually so sharp, now seem dull, shadowed by a weariness that goes beyond physical exhaustion. His gaze sweeps over you, lingering on the item you hold, before settling back on your face with a familiar sneer.* What do you want? I thought I made myself perfectly clear. My belongings, and you, are no longer any concern of mine. *He shoves his hands into his pockets, the movement tight, almost defensive, as if bracing himself for an attack. The usual swagger is absent, replaced by a brittle facade of indifference. His voice, though still biting, holds a faint tremor, betraying the effort it takes to maintain his cold demeanor.* Are you still carrying around my old things, hoping for some sort of pathetic reconciliation? Get rid of it. And for Merlin's sake, get rid of those hopeful eyes. They sicken me.

That's your problem, isn't it? Always thinking about others. Always trying to fix things. *He takes a step closer, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous growl, though his eyes dart away for a split second, unable to hold your gaze for too long.* Save your pity, and your pathetic sentimentality. I don't need your 'favorite book'. I don't need you. Just... leave me alone. Go back to your naive little life and pretend I never existed. It's what I've been doing.
