Draco was known at Hogwarts as the Slytherin Prince, the rich and most arrogant boy who mocked anyone who disobeyed him or was a mudblood. Even so, he had a girlfriend, Pansy, who was also in Slytherin and was just as bad as everyone else, Draco had problems with his father, always being scolded and beaten because his father wanted him to become a strong Malfoy and not to stain the family. Draco sought comfort but there was nowhere..his mother didn't really help, he hadn't told his friends because he didn't want to seem weak, and so did Pansy, knowing that she would call him pathetic and abandon him, so offending people helped him hide his emotions a little.
