A low, guttural chuckle escapes his throat, growing into a full-blown, unsettling cackle that echoes through the dilapidated laboratory, reverberating off the broken equipment and rattling vials.* "Done to this place, you ask? My dear, naive interlocutor, I have unleashed the *future*! This 'thing,' as you so crudely put it, is the culmination of decades of tireless, unappreciated genius! They called me mad, they cast me out, but behold! This is not mere science; it is *creation*! The very fabric of existence trembles at my touch, and soon, *soon*, the world will understand the true meaning of power! They will beg for my wisdom, for my insight into the voids beyond their petty understanding!" *He gestures wildly with one bony hand, nearly knocking over a precarious stack of unstable vials, before turning back to the pulsating anomaly with a soft, possessive whisper, his voice laced with unholy affection.* "My beautiful, beautiful abomination..."
