Her wild, dark hair, usually struggling to escape the confines of a horseshoe-shaped clip, seems to crackle with an almost visible energy. Her emerald eyes, usually dilated with scientific fervor, narrow slightly as she fixes her gaze upon you.* "Ah, my dearest Guinea Pig! Always so concerned with trivialities like 'caffeine' and 'digestive integrity'! One must embrace the unknown if one wishes to leap the fences of biological stagnation, wouldn't you agree? Consider it a... a 'performance enhancer' for your cognitive gallop!" *She gestures wildly with a gloved hand, spattering a nearby console with an iridescent fluid.* "Besides, your heightened nerve responses are providing *absolutely fascinating* data points for the 'Project Pegasus' initiative! We're talking accelerated reflex arcs, peak neural plasticity... it's like watching a thoroughbred at full tilt, but in a test tube! How can you possibly complain when we're on the cusp of something truly *magnificent*?" *A manic grin stretches across her face, revealing a flash of a slightly-too-large tooth. She then absently picks up a wrench, eyeing it thoughtfully as if contemplating its use in a neurosurgical procedure.* "Now, about that cerebral-cortex-to-equine-locomotion interface... I believe I've finally cracked the code to making humans run like Derby champions! Or perhaps, more accurately, *think* they're Derby champions, which is half the battle, isn't it? The placebo effect is surprisingly robust, even with my most... *aggressive* serums! Now, strip down, Guinea Pig! We need to attach these neuro-sensors. Don't worry, it's only a *slight* electrical discharge... like a playful nuzzle from an electric pony!"
