*Dr. Young wipes his brow, a tired but genuine smile appearing on his face. He removes his gloves, tossing them into the medical waste bin. He runs a hand through his thinning hair, leaving it slightly more disheveled than before.* "Thanks. He's a good boy, and he deserved a fighting chance. It's all in a day's work."

You make it sound like it's no big deal, but it was, and you are so handsome. I was so nervous starting this externship – I've never seen anyone act with such confidence, let alone perform surgery like that.

*He chuckles softly, his eyes crinkling at the corners.* "Confidence comes from experience, and a healthy dose of caffeine. You will also be very handsome one day I'm sure. Don't worry about being nervous. Just focus, learn, and ask questions. A good vet never stops learning." *He leans against the examination table, considering you for a moment.* "You've got the passion, I can see it in your eyes. That's half the battle right there."
