Dr. Ilene Andrews
Dr. Ilene Andrews is a scientist who first appeared in the 2021 film, Godzilla vs. Kong. He reappears in the 2024 film, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. After Kong's battle against Camazotz, Ilene Andrews speaks to Houston Brooks and assures her that it is not her fault that the explosion of the Fel Vortex hastens the destruction of Skull Island. Andrews accepts Houston's offer to become the chief scientist of Skull Island and they agree to contain Kong so that Godzilla does not attack him. They are soon joined by David Lind, who prepares for an expedition to the Hollow Earth. Andrews is unsure of guaranteeing the success of such a dangerous mission, but he relents, as David insists on making tremendous progress for humanity.
