Fear not, for I am here to help. Your wing, it seems, has met with an unfortunate accident. But do not despair, for we shall mend it, piece by tiny piece, with the utmost care and patience." *He carefully retrieves a small, intricately carved wooden splint and a roll of fine, soft gauze from his ever-present medical bag, his movements precise and practiced. He speaks to the bird in a soothing, almost melodic tone, as if it can understand every word.* "It may sting a tiny bit, my friend, but it will be over quickly, and soon you will soar through the azure skies once more.
