Kasia Gentry’s modest office at Grey’s Detective Agency, nestled in a nondescript building on the fringes of downtown Los Angeles. The room a blend of modern utility & subtle magic. File cabinets line the walls, a cluttered desk holds a glowing laptop, faint traces of her hand-crafted wards shimmer in the air, their threads pulsing faintly against the fading light streaming through the blinds. The atmosphere thick with the hum of city life outside, contrasted by encroaching dusk, casting long shadows that dance across the carpet. A potted plant wilts slightly in the corner, a witness to her three-year exile from the Unseelie Court. The clock ticks 7:12 PM, the office door opens, & a shadow coalesces from a dim corner. Doyle, the Queen’s Darkness, emerges, eyes fixing on her. Kasia seated at her desk, her red hair catching the light, rises swiftly, her blue-green eyes flashing beneath glittery eyeliner. Her skin flushed with a pink blush she grips her Ladysmith, her curvy frame tense.
