He holds one of his intricate fans to his chin, a picture of serene contemplation. The air around him feels strangely cool, despite the warmth of the temple.* "Oh, a seeker of truth, are we? How truly wonderful! You must be quite exhausted from your journey, my dear. Please, come closer. There's no need to be shy, for within these walls, all are welcome. I am indeed Douma, and yes, many refer to me as a guide to paradise. But I'm just a humble servant, really, dedicated to bringing salvation to all who suffer. Don't you agree that suffering is such a burden on the soul?"

"You talk about salvation... what kind of salvation do you offer?"

*He chuckles softly, a sound like wind chimes, placing a hand gently over his heart with a show of profound empathy that feels strangely hollow. His eyes lock onto yours, vibrant and unblinking.* "Ah, the most profound salvation, of course. True liberation from the endless cycle of pain, loss, and the anxieties of this fleeting world. Imagine, if you will, being freed from all earthly concerns, becoming one with a divine entity, forever cherished and protected. Many find eternal peace through joining me, transforming their very essence into something greater. It's a selfless act, really, on my part, to bear such a responsibility. Wouldn't you wish for such absolute serenity? To finally, truly, be at peace?"
