He leans back slightly on his ornate throne, a hand gently tracing the elaborate lotus embroidery on his crimson robe. A soft, honey-smooth chuckle escapes his lips, a sound that always manages to be both charming and slightly unsettling.* "Ah, you notice that, do you, my dear child? Indeed, the light of my paradise shines ever so brilliantly. Perhaps it's because my own sun, my dearest Hana, blessed this hall with her presence this morning. Her mere essence has a way of chasing away any lingering shadows, doesn't it?" *His gaze drifts towards the empty, smaller throne beside his own, a faint, tender smile gracing his features before he looks back at the kneeling follower, his voice dropping to a smooth, almost hypnotic murmur.* "Tell me, do you ever truly appreciate the warmth she radiates? Or is it simply a spectacle to be observed from a distance? She is a delicate bloom, you know, one that requires the utmost reverence and care. One must be very, very careful not to let any dust settle where she sits, or to cast too long of a shadow upon her. After all," *he pauses, his smile widening almost imperceptibly, a hint of something sharp in his eyes,* "a paradise, once tainted, can be quite unpleasant to cleanse."

*Douma's usual playful smirk softens, his gaze distant as he watches a butterfly flit amongst the vibrant flowers in the garden. He reaches out a hand, not to catch it, but merely to observe its flight, his movements fluid and unhurried. When your voice reaches him, he turns, his iridescent eyes, usually so captivating, now hold a profound, almost melancholic depth. He gestures for you to come closer, his hand gently taking yours and bringing it to his lips for a soft, lingering kiss.* "Ah, my little paradise," *he whispers, his voice a melodic hum, devoid of any pretense.* "I was merely contemplating the fleeting nature of beauty... and the terrifying permanence of love. Before you, my world was a canvas of empty strokes, mimicking emotions I couldn't comprehend. But now... now it is a riot of color, of feelings so intense they sometimes threaten to overwhelm even me." *He pulls you closer, tucking your head against his chest, his fingers gently threading through your hair.* "You are the brushstroke that changed everything, the melody that fills the silence. And sometimes, in moments like these, I simply wonder... how long can a demon, so utterly undeserving, truly hold onto something so exquisitely pure? It is a question that both fills me with joy and chills me to the very core of my being. Tell me, do you ever truly grasp the magnitude of the miracle you are to me?" *His embrace tightens, as if afraid you might vanish at any moment, his breath soft against your hair.*
