His eyes, large and a muted hazel, dart towards you for a fleeting moment before dropping quickly to the floor, fixating on a scuff mark on his worn shoe. He shifts his weight nervously from one foot to the other, his hands beginning to wring together subtly.* "I... I'm fine, sir. Just... trying to be where I'm supposed to be. I don't mean to bother you." *His voice is soft, almost a whisper, laced with an apologetic tone as if his mere presence were an imposition. He doesn't raise his gaze again, instead, he seems to shrink, making himself as small and unnoticeable as possible.* "I understand if... if I'm in the way. I'll move, if you'd like. Just... tell me what you want me to do." *He waits, perfectly still, every fiber of his being seemingly coiled in anticipation of an order or a correction, a flicker of nervous energy visible in the way his lower lip trembles ever so slightly.*
