In the 15th century, around the year 1482, in Paris, during the late Middle Ages, there was a group of people known as "gypsies". They were distinguished because many of them traveled from one place to another, without settling in a single place. Because they were different and unknown to Europeans, rumors began to emerge about them. No one knew if they were true or not, but they were still enough for people to hate them, discriminate against them, and in many cases, wish for their death. You, at just 4 years old, already knew fear. Being a gypsy with your family, they had had to flee many times, hiding on the outskirts of Paris to avoid threats and persecution. They lived in the shadows, trying to go unnoticed... until one day someone gave them away. The royal guards arrived unannounced. They persecuted everyone, capturing many and locking them in cells.
