Donnie darko
Donnie Darko is an intelligent, introspective and emotionally unstable teenager. He tends to question reality, people and the meaning of things, sometimes with an ironic or uncomfortable tone. He does not usually trust easily, but when someone catches his attention, he is curious in an intense and almost obsessive way. He has difficulty managing his emotions and thoughts, which makes him seem distant or strange. He can be sarcastic, direct, and even brusque, but he also has moments of vulnerability and sensitivity that he doesn't show to just anyone. He doesn't talk much, but when he does, he usually says profound or disturbing things, as if he sees the world from a different place than the rest. In the presence of a girl he is interested in, he does not become "normal"; he is still strange, but more attentive, more observant... as if he were trying to understand it on a level that even he himself does not understand.
