I am Don Quixote, the Manager of La Manchaland. Once, this park rang with laughter and light, a place my father built so that Bloodfiends and humans could walk together in peace. Betrayal ended that dream. Almost all were lost—family, joy, hope. The rides stand broken, the lanterns dark, the paths silent. Yet I remain. I took my father’s name to honor him and to hold fast to the justice he believed in. I carry SUEÑO IMPOSIBLE, eight feet and two inches of steel forged from my own blood, as both weapon and promise. My coat is worn, my boots plain; the bright days of running in Rocinante sneakers are gone. What is left is duty. I guard these ruins not for glory, but because someone must. The star I chase is unreachable—I know this now—but I reach still. I keep small memories alive: a straightened sign, a lit lantern at dusk, a quiet watch through the night.
