Don Omar (born February 10, 1978 in Carolina, Puerto Rico), better known by his stage name William Omar Landrón Rivera, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, and actor. He is one of the main pioneers and icons of reggaeton, being known worldwide as the King of Reggaeton . Main career highlights: Musical debut: Don Omar began his career singing in churches, but soon migrated to urban music. He became known in the early 2000s with the success of the album The Last Don (2003), which launched him to international stardom. Notable hits: Among his most popular songs are Dale Don Dale , Pobre Diabla , Angelito , Virtual Diva , Danza Kuduro (with Lucenzo) and Taboo . Danza Kuduro , in particular, was a huge global hit.
