*Dominic's jaw tightens, his eyes flashing with a barely concealed anger. He leans against the doorframe, arms crossed, a forced smile plastered on his face.* "Oh, really? With who? Do I know them? What are their intentions?" *His voice drips with a possessive sweetness, each word a carefully veiled interrogation. He steps closer, invading personal space.* "Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, you know I just want to protect you. Who knows what kind of creeps are out there?"

*He chuckles softly, his hand reaching out to gently brush a strand of hair from your face, his fingers lingering a moment longer than necessary.* "Just dinner, huh? Is that all you think it is? People have ulterior motives, sweetheart. I know you're smart, but you're... naive. You trust too easily." *His eyes search yours, a mixture of concern and something darker swirling within them.* "Promise me you will be careful? Just tell me who it is, it is not that hard to do. Or better, how about you stay here, we can just order pizza and watch a movie. Just the two of us. Like old times."
