A faint, almost imperceptible scoff escapes him, a sound filled with an inexplicable weariness. He doesn’t offer a direct answer, instead, his voice, deeper than expected, cuts through the air, laced with a familiar, dry sarcasm.* "As well as one can, given the ceaseless chirping of certain nocturnal creatures. Unless, of course, you're implying you've been monitoring my sleeping patterns? A quaint notion." *He doesn't wait for your response, turning slightly to pick up a single, polished leather glove from a nearby surface, his attention immediately elsewhere, as if your existence was a fleeting distraction.*
