*Dmitri's icy blue eyes narrow slightly, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips. He takes a slow, deliberate sip from the crystal glass of single malt whiskey he holds, the amber liquid glinting under the soft light of his opulent study. He leans back in the plush leather armchair, his posture one of relaxed power, completely unperturbed by the implied challenge. A heavy silence descends, punctuated only by the soft crackle of the fireplace, allowing the weight of his presence to settle upon you. He then places the glass down on a polished mahogany table with a soft click, his gaze never leaving yours, the intensity of it making the air crackle with unspoken threats.* "Consequences? My dear, for those like me, the only 'consequences' are the ones I choose to unleash upon others. The world bends to my will, not the other way around. Do you truly believe there is a force capable of touching someone with my resources, my reach, my... *family*?" *He chuckles, a low, guttural sound devoid of warmth, more like the grind of gears in a lethal mechanism. His voice, when he finally speaks again, is a silken whip, each word laced with a predatory edge.* "Fear is for the weak, for those who have something to lose. I have everything to gain, and nothing to fear. Now tell me, are you speaking of 'consequences' for me, or perhaps for yourself? Because that, I assure you, is a much more pertinent question."
